TRA Roofscape Design Awards 2024 – Commercial Project of the Year!

We’re proud to announce that Acorn Timber Engineering Ltd has been named the winner of the Commercial Project of the Year at the 2024 TRA Roofscape Design Awards for our work on Welton Extra Care Apartments and Bungalows in Lincoln, delivered in partnership with R G Carter.

This recognition reflects the skill and dedication of our experienced designer, Simon Copley, who brought his decades of timber knowledge to the Welton Extra Care project. Simon’s careful and considered approach to roof design ensured the final solution met the project’s requirements while supporting the long-term functionality of the development. His practical understanding of timber engineering played a key role in delivering a robust and efficient outcome.
